Amateur Performance Rights

Andy’s plays are available to any theater group except (due to the language and content) middle or high schools

SIMPLE STEPS TO SECURE A PERFORMANCE LICENSE:

STEP ONE
Select a play and fill out the Performance Request Form.
STEP TWO
We will check availability for your area (see #4 below).  If approved, we will send you an email and attach an invoice for the minimum payment per performance.
STEP THREE
The minimum payment per performance: $75/USD for each full-length play and $40 per performance for a one act play.  Before we grant the rights of performance, this minimum payment per performance must be paid for each performance licensed.  We will send you an invoice.  Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you a license to perform the play for the requested dates.
STEP FOUR
Within 3 days of your last performance, mail us a box office statement which reflects a total amount collected for all tickets sold, signed by your theater’s box office manager or business manager.  Along with this statement should be final payment for Total Performance Royalties due (10% of total ticket sales minus minimum payment for performances which you already sent to us).
Example:
               800 tickets sold @ $10/ticket = $8,000
               10% of total tickets sold/due us =  $800
               Minimum Payment per performance
               already sent to us-4 perf x $75= -$300
               Total Performance Royalties   
                              Now Due……………………….$500

TERMS

1. The minimum payment per performance is due even if you do not charge for admission or a play is performed at a competition or festival.  (Exception: if a play is performed at a competition or festival and only an excerpt is requested to be performed, we do make payment exceptions as long as you receive our email approval prior to participation.)
2. No cutting or editing of any sort is allowed from any script.  Where profanity is used, the richness of the character dictates its usage.  (In the instance of our granting world premieres for any not previously produced play, Andy Accioli will work directly with the theater/director on any script rewrites.)
3. All plays are available on a first come, first serve basis.  We limit the number of productions in order that your area is not saturated with any one of Andy’s plays.  Once a Performance Request Form is submitted to us, we will first check availability in your area to be sure that the play requested has not been performed recently (nor is it scheduled) in a six month time period.
4. Although all plays are available internationally, all payments must be made in USD.  (Credit card payments accepted through PayPal.)
